ABOUT PPAC

Plymouth Performing Arts Center has enriched the lives of thousands of children and adults through theatrical and musical arts education. Our educators are degreed in their fields and teach year-round at PPAC.

Children begin their journey in our First Notes baby/toddler music classes, gaining foundations that will help them find success in any aspect of music and performing arts.

Beginning at age 4, children may begin piano lessons where they will learn the essential foundations of reading music and performing classic repertoire. Beginning at age 5, children may begin vocal lessons to find and cultivate their singing voice, and acting lessons to develop personal expression and stage acting skills.

In grades K-1, children take their first steps on stage in our Mini-Stage theatrical productions.

Students in Grades 1-4 perform in their first full theatrical productions in our Junior Stage theatre program. From there, they continue to develop their acting skills and experience in our Main Stage (grades 5-8) and High School Stage (grades 9-12) theatre productions. Students who enjoy singing popular music can audition to join our Glee groups.

Our Summer Theatre Camps begin a new production every week and hold a performance every Friday afternoon, giving students the opportunity to add up to 12 shows to their acting resume every summer!

Our modern 100-seat theater is central to everything we do at PPAC. All of our students are invited to perform on stage at the end of each season, building their skills and confidence as performers while bringing joy to their families and friends in the audience.
