First Notes family classes are led by talented teachers who engage parents and children in musical learning activities covering rhythm, counting, movement, and pitch-matching skills.
Infants and Babies - In this important stage of early development, infants and babies gain an inherent feel for music and rhythm while parents and caregivers also learn songs and activities that they may practice with their children outside of classes. During classes, we show parents and caregivers how to interact with their child to reinforce learning.
Toddlers - As children begin to stand, walk, and speak, they begin to emulate the music and activities we teach. During this stage of development, parents and caregivers continue to assist their children in classes to help them play rhythms, sing, move to the beat, and play small instruments.
Preschoolers - As children become able to perform musical activities independently, we provide the opportunity for them to play additional instruments and sing or demonstrate activities for their classmaters.
