PPAC Original Musical Productions

  • Peter Pan - Based on the classic story of Peter Pan, this musical includes all familiar characters other than Tigerlilly, and is filled with comedy and heartwarming music. Performed at PPAC since 2006.

  • ‘Ella - Based on the classic story Cinderella, Ella is the daughter of the rock star Wanda who transforms the boring town of Blissville into the most fun place on earth! Performed at PPAC since 2011.

  • Into The Sunset - Based on the true story of the California Gold Rush, this breathtaking story and musical score featuring historical characters has been uplifting PPAC’s students since 2008.

  • Beauty and The Beast - This original musical adaptation provides the opportunity for young actors to perform the classic story of Beauty and the Beast (Disney licenses their version only to middle school and older casts). Performed at PPAC since 2011.

  • Legend of The Pride - Based on the stories that inspired The Lion King (Hamlet, Kimba The White Lion), Legend of the Pride is a playful, heartwarming musical for elementary school actors with a contemporary musical score. Performed at PPAC since 2011.

  • The Little Mermaid - This original musical adaptation provides the opportunity for young actors to perform the classic story of The Little Mermaid (Disney licenses their version only to middle school and older casts). Performed at PPAC since 2013. Watch the video of the 2013 production.

  • Revolution - A delightful and heartwarming story of a child in a prehistoric tribe. Young Trog is an artist and innovator but is treated like an outcast because he’s not a good hunter. But when the ice age arrives, Trog becomes the hero of the story, inventing the wheel which makes it possible for the elders to move to a warmer place and saving the tribe from extinction. Performed at PPAC since 2008.

  • The Brementown Musicians - In this original adaptation of the classic story, the characters are farm animals who travel across the country to compete in the Brementown Battle of The Bands to save their farm from foreclosure by the bank. Performed at PPAC since 2005.

  • The World is… This hilarious musical comedy, in the style of Monty Python and set in the time of King Arthur, begins with a disagreement between the King and his son over whether the earth is round or flat. To settle the bet, the King sends his knights on journeys in opposite directions. Will they meet on the other side of the word, or will they fall off? You will find out! Performed at PPAC since 2010.

  • The Phantom of The Opera - This original musical presents the classic story by Gaston Leroux presents the Phantom in a new - Rather than the evil character of the Broadway production, the Phantom is a force of inspiration to the opera and all who attend. Written for actors, singers, and dancer in grades 8 and higher. Watch a video of the 2023 performance.

  • Les Misérables - This original musical presents the classic story by Victor Hugo focusing on the admirable traits of the main characters and omitting the darkest elements of the Broadway production. Written for actors and singers in grades 8 and higher. Performed at PPAC since 2012.

  • Wonderland - This light-hearted and creative musical adaptation of the classic story provides opportunities for every member of the cast. Performed at PPAC since 2007.
